Lyrics

Verse 1

The past has died,
It's only right,
There are new stories to discover from here on out,

There was love,
There was hate,
A cryptic, worn out cinema,

I can't fly,
If all these lies keep me trapped in the desert of nostalgia,

It's all in flames,
And, I can't replay the same old game,
I can't keep tryin’ to control every single thing,

Hook

I can't describe this great feeling of being free from the past,
I just know,
Freedom is pure gold,

The walls of the mind are nothin’ but self-induced illusion,
Just a single thought can destroy them,
Freedom is true bliss,

Verse 2

There's a sign you cannot find,
If all you're looking for is a shortcut,

Most will say you cannot play,
With a set of rules that'll stack the odds against you,

Time will tell where all this'll lead,
But, for now, enjoy the fire that keeps you company,

Time to leave for a new journey begins,
Pack your things, it's time for us to fly again,

Hook

I can't describe this great feeling of being free from the past,
I just know,
Freedom is pure gold,

The walls of the mind are nothin’ but self-induced illusion,
Just a single thought can destroy them,
Freedom is true bliss,

Bridge

I can’t see where this road will lead,
But, I don’t care no more,
Predicting every single thing,
Will just spoil the fun of it all!
